Position Overview:
As a Nursery Educator you will play a key role in providing high-quality care and education for children aged 0 to 5 years in our day nursery. You will create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn and develop through play and exploration. Your primary responsibilities will include planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, supporting children's social, emotional, and cognitive development, and building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging activities for children to support their learning and development (the more creative the better!)
Support other staff members in delivering activities and maintaining a safe environment.
Provide feedback to management on nursery operations and any concerns that arise.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and follow guidelines for early childhood education.
Help maintain accurate records of children's progress and update learning journals, (We use Famly as our software solution).
Promote equality and diversity by providing all children with fair opportunities regardless of background.
Qualifications:
An Early Years related qualification (NVQ Lvl 3 or equivalent).
Minimum of one years experience working in a childcare setting.
Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and its implementation.
Experience working with children aged 0 to 5 years in a nursery or early years setting.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently as needed.

Additional Information:
This is a full-time position based at our premises in Filton, Bristol, working Monday to Friday during nursery opening hours. Applicants will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check and provide satisfactory references prior to employment.
